Lexology Pro quoted Josh Seidman in its article, “NYC introduces paid prenatal leave requirements,” on July 1. Seidman discussed how New York City’s new paid prenatal personal leave rules could prompt employers to review and update their policies to ensure compliance with the revised reporting and notice requirements.

“Given the short runway between when these rules were finalised in the beginning of June to when they go live on 2 July, it isn't a lot of time for companies to get their systems up to date to include this information.”
