Julia Gorham, Wan Li, and Paul Cutrone, partners in Seyfarth's International Employment Law department, presented an In-House Community webinar "Employment Law Update: Covid recovery planning and future workplace planning for Asia employers" on 23 July, 2020. The program, designed specifically for in-house counsel in the Asia region, addressed Covid-19 recovery planning and future workplace planning for Asia employers, with a particular focus on Hong Kong S.A.R. and Mainland China. Other topics included:
- Immediate obligations arising from Covid: - health and time off, and returning to work;
- Recovery planning for employees;
- Horizon planning: - year-end, compensation, rebalancing of remuneration, redundancies
- Changes to the workplace going forward
