Kristina Launey Discusses Economic Impacts of California's New Fast-Food Worker Law in SHRM

SHRM quoted Kristina Launey in its article, “What Are the Economic Impacts of California’s New Fast-Food Law?,” on March 7. Launey discussed California's new fast-food law which raises the minimum wage for fast-food workers and also establishes the Fast Food Council, a government body that can boost the minimum wage annually and recommend new workplace standards.

“Be ready for any changes that might occur…also, monitor recommendations made by the council.”
