Laura Maechtlen Quoted in The American Lawyer on NLRB Uncertainty and Law Firm Demand

The American Lawyer quoted Seyfarth Labor & Employment national chair Laura Maechtlen in its article, “Management-Side Labor and Employment Firms Face NLRB Uncertainty Amid Continuing Demand on Workplace Issues,” published September 10.

Maechtlen discussed how recent shifts at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) are affecting management-side labor and employment practices.

“It dictated a lot of new work for our teams in the areas of DEI counseling, as well as really just kind of managing what I call a ‘frothy environment. Just uncertainty and people just trying to manage, [and] who are looking down the path and around the corner.”
