Leon Rodriguez was quoted in "Chief Justice gets US official reply," an April 3 story from the Daily Journal on how the U.S. Attorney General and DHS Secretary challenged a recent California courthouse ‘stalking’ claim and said that federal immigration agents will continue to make arrests in state courts and other public places. Rodriguez said that DHS is following a 2011 memo that generally limits immigration law enforcement in so-called “sensitive locations” such as hospitals, schools, religious buildings, funerals and weddings.
