Leon Rodriguez was quoted in the August issue of the Report on Patient Privacy, “Still Missing a New Leader, Former OCR Directors, Experts Offer Advice, Task List.” Rodriguez said there was a lot of motivation and effort to fill not just the OCR slot, but political positions throughout the new administration after Biden took the oath of office; once the work of governing began, the momentum seemed to have slowed to fill the position.
