Lisa Damon was quoted in the October 3, 2008 Boston Business Journal article, "In-house counsels: Match rates, services." The article discussed how the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) formally issued their challenge to charge rates that match up to the services they render. The Washington, D.C.-based ACC refers to the new initiative as the “Value Challenge” and it hopes to start a national dialog about the need to reconnect value to costs, mainly within the law firm community. The ACC enlisted attorneys across the nation, including Lisa Damon, to share strategies on how they have reconnected value to the services provided to clients. According to Lisa, a large part of the Seyfarth Shaw's strategy is providing a delivery model for services that is transparent, so that there are no hidden costs for clients and ensuring greater cost predictability for clients.
