Lisa Damon to Co-Present AHLA Webinar “Healthy Cultures, Lasting Change: Nurturing an Effective DEI&B Program”

Lisa Damon, partner in Seyfarth's Labor & Employment department and member of the firm’s Health Care group, will co-present an AHLA webinar titled, “Healthy Cultures, Lasting Change: Nurturing an Effective DEI&B Program,” on September 21, 2021.

During the webinar, presenters will outline the legal framework, guardrails, and hypotheticals for developing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DE&I) programming to mitigate risk, and also share tried-and-true structures and strategies around effective DEI&B programs in health care. Additionally, they will discuss setting achievable strategic goals, the effective use of Employee Resource Groups, and how effective programming was forced to change during the pandemic to nourish workplace cultures in new ways, despite distributed workforces and to respond to calls for enhanced equity.
