Minh Vu's arrival to Seyfarth Shaw's Labor & Employment Department was featured in the Employment Law360 article, "Seyfarth Lures ADA Expert From Epstein Becker," published June 18, 2009. The article noted that Seyfarth has added a litigator who specializes in the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and served as the co-chair of her former firms' disability law group. According to the article, before her time at her previous firm, Minh spent more than two years with the U.S. Department of Justice, where she served as counselor to the assistant attorney general for civil rights.

Minh commented that "she was drawn to Seyfarth by the sterling reputation of its employment law practice and the firm's involvement in cases brought under Title III of the ADA, which governs equal access to public accommodations, among other factors." She explained that "Title III covers facilities such as theaters, hotels, restaurants and retail outlets. There are very specific standards for accessibility." Helping clients navigate those requirements is a key part of Minh's practice. According to the article, having been at the DOJ, Minh offers clients an understanding of the government's perspective in enforcement actions. The article also noted that she has defended employers and public accommodations in numerous complicated disability and employment law matters. She has also defended employers in lawsuits and government investigations stemming from anti-discrimination laws included Title VII and the Family and Media Leave Act.

Jeremy Sherman, chair of Seyfarth's Labor & Employment Department, commented, "Her deep expertise in disability discrimination matters gained from her government and private law firm experience strengthens our firm's depth in the important area and will be a great asset to our clients."
