“EEOC background check policy is under fire from attorneys general”

Seyfarth Shaw Labor & Employment partner Pamela Devata is quoted in an August 25 Business Insurance article discussing recent “scathing” language from a district judge in Maryland as well as a letter from the attorneys general claiming recent lawsuits and application of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by the EEOC as “misguided and a quintessential example of federal overreach.”
