“Ground Rules on Background Checks”

Pamela Devata was quoted in the February 2008 issue of HR Magazine in the article, “Ground Rules on Background Checks.” The article examines the National Association of Professional Background Screeners’ (NAPBS) plans to unveil a certification and accreditation process for member firms. Pam notes that the NAPBS proposals are "excellent and necessary.” She states, "It can be a daunting task for employers to choose a background-screening partner—there are so many companies out there competing for business…. But having some real, definable standards in place will help in making that critical decision."
