“Beware a Fired-Up EEOC Following Legal Setback”

Seyfarth Shaw Labor & Employment partner Pamela Devata is quoted in a September 16 Human Resource Executive article discussing the dismissal of an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission disparate-impact suit over alleged discriminatory background checks during an employer’s hiring process. According to Pam, the ruling will cause the agency to become more focused on employer background-screening policies.
