"Top NLRB Precedents in Jeopardy Under an Obama Labor Board"
Paul Galligan's article, "Top NLRB Precedents in Jeopardy Under an Obama Labor Board," was published in the January 13, 2009 issue of the New York Law Journal. In his article, Paul discusses how with the changing of the guard at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in 2009, many pro-employer decisions of the 2004-2007 board, led by President Bush-appointed Chairman Robert Battista, will be rolled back. According to Paul, "it is widely predicted that the new Obama board will reverse as many of these controversial pro-employer Bush board precedents as they can get their hands on." His article discusses the top 10 pro-employer Bush board decisions that are now in jeopardy.
