Seyfarth Shaw Boston Office Managing Partner Russell Swapp was quoted and the firm was featured in the Boston Business Journal on July 8. The article highlighted Seyfarth's Boston office and its long-lasting partnership with Best Buddies, an international nonprofit organization that works to create employment, leadership and friendship opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

To date, the firm has donated more than $1 million to the organization. Russell said, "Our office has a number of families touched by intellectual disabilities, so Best Buddies is a natural fit for our firm." He noted, "We are deeply committed to the Best Buddies annual Hyannis Port Challenge," an annual fundraising run and bike ride that raised more than $4 million this year. "We consider ourselves blessed to share in its mission and success."

The firm also employs three Best Buddies in the Boston office and provides complimentary office space to the New England headquarters of the Best Buddies Challenge. Russell reflected, "It has been a deeply rewarding experience and relationship for our firm."
