Sam Schwartz-Fenwick was quoted in "Transgender Student’s Case Raises Questions for Employers," a March 8 story by SHRM on how circuit court rulings could clarify definition of ‘sex discrimination’. Schwartz-Fenwick said that the position federal courts will take on the scope of Title VII is unsettled, a trend that will continue until the Supreme Court weighs in or express federal legislation is passed barring transgender discrimination.
