Sam Schwartz-Fenwick was quoted in an October 20 story from Bloomberg Law, “‘Not Completely Me:' Transgender Workers Fight for Health Care.” Schwartz-Fenwick said that it’s the law that you can’t discriminate against a participant in an employer-sponsored health plan based on them being transgender; there are open legal questions about what that means in practice.
