July 7, 2026 – Seyfarth Shaw LLP represented The Atlantic Companies in connection with a joint venture acquisition of a stabilized single-story flex office building located in Kennesaw, Georgia. The property is occupied by The Emory Clinic.

The transaction involved the formation of a joint venture between The Atlantic Companies and an institutional partner. The deal also functioned as a recapitalization, with The Atlantic Companies participating on both the buy-side and sell-side of the transaction.

The acquisition was financed with a loan provided by Fifth Third Bank.

Seyfarth partners Lili Martin-Mashburn and Matt Peurach advised The Atlantic Companies on the joint venture formation and acquisition. Partner Justin Barry and associate Luke Owens provided counsel on the loan documentation and underlying real estate matters.

“Seyfarth is proud to support The Atlantic Companies in executing a strategic transaction that both strengthens its partnership platform and positions the asset for continued long-term success,” said Martin-Mashburn. “This deal reflects the growing appeal of well-located, healthcare-oriented flex properties and the value of thoughtful joint venture structuring.”
