Seyfarth’s Elizabeth Schrero Receives Leadership Award from New York Coalition of Women’s Initiative in Law

Elizabeth Schrero, partner in the Litigation department in New York, received the 2018 Leadership Award from the New York Coalition of Women’s Initiative in Law.

The Leadership Award is given to a delegate of the Coalition of Women’s Initiative in Law that demonstrates commitment and dedication to the Coalition in addition to the criteria set forth below:

• Demonstrate an excellence in lawyering and achievement in the nominee’s legal practice
• Believes in and understands the importance and value of gender parity in the legal profession and consistently advocates for this belief
• Acknowledges and encourages the full talents, capabilities, skills and rights of women in the profession
• Encourages women in the profession to accept opportunities and challenges and to expand their circle of influence The Coalition of Women’s Initiative in Law is a non-profit membership association that brings together women in law firms, government, and companies of all sizes.

The Coalition has more than 120 law firms and companies as members, stretching the reach of the Coalition to thousands of women attorneys in its member organizations. The Coalition provides dozens of programs in New York each year. Its goal is to foster career advancement and professional development, promote dialogue and a support-network among members, and to help address the many issues facing women lawyers and women's initiatives today.
