Click for PDF

This report analyzes all federal and state court substantive and procedural rulings on class actions over the past 12 months and is part and parcel of our practice in defending employers in class actions throughout the United States.

The report is 153 pages in length, and examines 209 class action rulings on a circuit-by-circuit and state-by-state basis. The discussion is divided into chapters on leading class action settlements, federal law rulings, and state law rulings. The substantive areas examined include Title VII, EEOC pattern or practice cases, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, and state law rulings in employment law, wage & hour, and breach of contract cases. The Report also analyzes the leading cases interpreting the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005.
