Chambers USA Guide Selects 18 Attorneys Across 7 Offices,
Highlights Firm’s National Employment, Construction and Real Estate Capabilities
Chicago, June 14, 2004 – Three practice areas and 18 attorneys with Seyfarth Shaw LLP have been recognized as among the best in the industry by their clients and peers in the second annual Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers. The survey, conducted by Chambers and Partners Legal Publishers, ranks America’s top law firms and legal practitioners annually.
“We are thrilled to be recognized as one of the premier law firms in the nation, particularly among our clients and peers within the industry,” said Steve Poor, managing partner of Seyfarth Shaw. “The lawyers and practice areas ranked by Chambers reinforce the notion that Seyfarth Shaw is among the leading law firms in the country and illustrates the excellent work we do on behalf of our clients.”
The Chambers USA guide ranks individual lawyers and practice areas on a state-by-state basis; firm rankings are determined by the number of individual lawyers selected from each firm. Seyfarth was ranked within 5 states as well as in the District of Columbia.
“The selection of lawyers from across our national network, including several from our relatively new office in Boston, reinforces our strategy of growing our national platform to consistently provide clients with outstanding service,” said Poor.
The entire results were recently published in Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers and on the Chambers web site, www.chambersandpartners.com. The rankings are based on 7,000 interviews with lawyers and clients across the United States.
