Seyfarth Shaw’s Labor & Employment Department Earns No. 1 Vault Ranking

CHICAGO (June 26, 2012) — As part of its annual survey, Vault announced today that Seyfarth Shaw has earned the number one spot in the Vault Practice Area Ranking for Labor & Employment, up from ranking fourth last year.

Nearly 17,000 law firm associates across the United States were surveyed and asked to vote for up to three firms, excluding their own. Self-identified corporate associates voted only in the corporate-related categories; litigators in the litigation categories, etc. Seyfarth’s top ranking indicated it was the top firm in the Labor & Employment category and had the highest total percentage of votes out of 15 other firms.

Vault also invited all associates who participated in the survey to comment on the overall reputation of the firms with which they are familiar. This year, respondents said that Seyfarth Shaw was known for its “strong labor and employment law practice,” as well as its “good lawyers and good people.”
