Seyfarth Shaw’s Robert Milligan Selected as Chair of ITechLaw’s Intellectual Property Substantive Law Committee

LOS ANGELES (June 18, 2012 ) – Seyfarth Shaw LLP announced today that Los Angeles office partner Robert Milligan has been selected to serve as Chair of ITechLaw’s Intellectual Property Substantive Law Committee for the June 2012-May 2013 term. He previously held the appointment of vice-chair of the organization in 2010-2012.

Committee leaders are key members of ITechLaw’s leadership team. In addition to assisting with the development of the yearly goals for the committee, other duties include identifying the types of activities and the benefits for members or the association, planning at least one webinar hosted by the committee, and organizing an interactive workshop at the U.S. or European Conferences as requested by the Program Committee.

Milligan is a partner in the Litigation and Labor & Employment departments of the firm. His practice encompasses a wide variety of commercial litigation and employment matters, including general business disputes, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation and other intellectual property theft.
