Seyfarth’s ADA statistics were referenced in an April 24 story from The Next Web, “Run an online store? In the age of COVID-19, you can’t skimp on web accessibility.” Seyfarth’s analysis found that 11,053 web accessibility related lawsuits were filed in the United States in 2019—an eight percent increase over 2018, and a substantial increase from when just 2,722 lawsuits were filed in 2013.
