Seyfarth’s ADA Title III Blog on Digital Accessibility Cited by the ABA

The American Bar Association cited Seyfarth’s ADA Title III blog in its article, “Digital Accessibility Under Title III of the ADA: Recent Developments and Risk Mitigation Best Practices,” on August 13. The blog discussed how 95 percent of the top one million home pages on the internet have accessibility barriers that hinder use by people with disabilities, fueling a surge in litigation under Title III of the ADA.

“These barriers have spawned a flood of litigation under Title III of the ADA since 2016, with nearly 2,500 federal lawsuits being filed across the United States in 2024.”
