Seyfarth's Shardé Skahan Elected Vice President of Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles

Seyfarth’s Shardé T. Skahan, member of the firm’s Labor & Employment department in Los Angeles, was elected vice president of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.

Skahan provides employment counseling to employers on internal investigations, diversity and inclusion, employee discipline and terminations, California pay data reporting, interactive process, and other common employment matters.

Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Inc. (BWL) is a non-profit corporation whose mission is dedicated to charitable, educational and community-based services. BWL was founded in 1975 after a small group of Los Angeles based African-American women judges and attorneys held a luncheon meeting to discuss the marked absence of an organization which addressed the needs and concerns of African-American women in the legal profession.
