Shardé Skahan Quoted in The American Lawyer on Landmark Sexual Harassment Ruling
The American Lawyer (Law.com) quoted Shardé Skahan in its article, “Court Shakes Up Sexual Harassment Law—And Attorneys Await Fallout,” published on September 10. Skahan provided insight into how the Sixth Circuit’s recent ruling could influence how other courts approach employer liability for third-party harassment, especially with the Loper Bright decision. The article was also featured on the front page of the September 12 edition of the New York Law Journal.
“Loper Bright is now able to be used in different ways that might result in the court coming to a similar conclusion for some other piece of guidance that exists, on the grounds that the court need to take its own independent assessment.”
