SHRM Quotes Christy Kiely on the Strategic Value of Inclusion and Diversity
SHRM featured partner Christy Kiely in its article, "I&D Is About Performance, Not Causes," which examines how HR leaders can position inclusion and diversity (I&D) as both a compliance requirement and a competitive advantage.
“Studies have shown that groups with diverse perspectives are more creative, innovative, engaged, profitable, and productive,” Kiely said.
Kiely also highlighted how cost-effective strategies, such as employee resource groups (ERGs) and business resource groups (BRGs), can help organizations advance I&D goals internally, noting, "ERGs/BRGs are wholly permissible so long as they’re open to everyone and genuinely welcoming of all interested persons.”
