Victoria Lipnic’s Nomination Featured in HR News
“Former DOL Official Lipnic Nominated to the EEOC”

Victoria Lipnic’s nomination to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) was featured in the November 6, 2009 HR News article, “Former DOL Official Lipnic Nominated to the EEOC.” According to the article, President Obama nominated Vicki, of counsel in Seyfarth Shaw’s Washington, D.C. office, to the EEOC on November 3, 2009. The article reported that prior to her position at Seyfarth Shaw, Vicki “served as assistant secretary of labor for employment standards from 2002 until January 2009.” The article also noted that her government service also includes positions as workforce policy counsel to members of the House Education and Labor Committee and as special assistant to Reagan administration Secretary of Commerce Malcolm Baldrige. The article reported that Vicki  is “the third person nominated by President Obama to be a member of the EEOC.”
