About the Program

The Washington State Legislature concludes its short session on March 10, 2022 and there are a number of bills that will affect employers doing business in Washington.

Join Seyfarth’s Seattle Labor & Employment team for a review of the session and the new laws that will impact employers doing business in the state. We provide practical suggestions to ensure your business is prepared for the new laws, and provide a summary of which potential legislation did not make the cut, but may return in future legislative sessions.

Topics include:

  • Settlement agreements
  • Whistleblowers/Qui Tam
  • Paid family leave
  • Independent contractors
  • Workplace safety
  • Warehouse distribution centers
