Zach Jacobson to Present GW & NASPO Panel on State and Local Bid Protests

Seyfarth associate Zach Jacobson is presenting during the “Introduction to State & Local Bid Protests” program for George Washington University Law’s Government Procurement Law Program and the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) webinar series on State Bid Protests on Tuesday, July 12. The program is the first in a series of four programs and will provide an overview of state and local bid protests. Zach will present alongside Dan Shoeni of the Department of the Air force and Melissa Copeland of Schmidt & Copeland LLC. Zach will summarize the methodology and results of his survey of the US bid protest systems in all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, including explaining the key features of bid protest systems and the policy choices behind their adoption in jurisdictions across the United States.
