Alex’s practice encompasses a variety of transactional real estate and corporate, commercial finance, and land use matters across all asset classes and jurisdictions, including acquisitions and dispositions; acquisition, construction, mezzanine, and permanent financings; development projects and entitlements; joint ventures; leasing; and entity formation and organizational restructuring. He has worked on over US$4 billion in transactions involving portfolios and single assets, including office, industrial, hotel, multifamily, retail, charter school, and agricultural properties.

Alex’s representative clients include: REITs; insurance companies; pension funds; private equity firms; family offices; investors and sponsors; big box retailers; investment banking firms; commercial developers; institutional lenders; charter school developers, owners, and operators; health care systems and providers; hedge funds; restaurateurs; landlords and tenants in office, industrial, medical, retail, agricultural, restaurant, and charter school leases; solar energy providers; charitable institutions; wealthy individuals; and cities and redevelopment agencies.
