The 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America names 210 Seyfarth attorneys as leaders in their fields. Best Lawyers bases its listings solely on a peer review process, in which researchers ask leading attorneys from specific practice areas and geographic regions about the professional abilities of their colleagues. Seyfarth attorneys from 12 US offices and 45 practice areas represent the firm in The Best Lawyers in America 2023.

Notably, Seyfarth partners David Bizar (Boston), Gloria Portela (Houston), James McGrath (Boston), Michael Rechtin (Chicago), Brad Perkins (San Francisco), Sam Schwartz-Fenwick (Chicago), and Sharon Lynn Cook (Atlanta) were also awarded "Lawyer of the Year” status, the top honor available from Best Lawyers.
