More About Amanda

Amanda is known for representing several of the nation’s largest companies in their most complex disputes. Named a “Rising Star” at the 2022 New York Legal Awards by the New York Law Journal (ALM), Amanda earns the confidence of executive teams and consistently delivers excellent results. As featured by The Legal 500 (Legalese Ltd.) (2025): “Amanda Genovese is noted for her strong industry and legal knowledge, and great client service.” As co-chair of Seyfarth’s New York Litigation team, Amanda helps guide a strategic, client-focused approach to the firm’s litigation practice.

As go-to outside counsel for health care and ERISA litigation, Amanda defends insurers, plan administrators, employers, and managed care organizations. Amanda regularly delivers favorable outcomes in high-stakes reimbursement and network agreement disputes, securing dismissals and negotiating settlements. She also advises clients on investigations and matters involving improper billing/coding, fraud and abuse laws, the Mental Health Parity Act, and government health care programs.

Outside of health care and ERISA litigation, Amanda is an experienced commercial litigator engaged by financial institutions and major corporations in matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, consumer liability, and RICO claims.

Amanda understands what clients need: clear advice, timely updates, and a dedicated advocate in their corner—she delivers.
