As a part of Seyfarth’s International Organizations and Foreign Sovereigns team, Bret helps international organizations and foreign sovereigns preserve their statutory and treaty-based immunities from suit. Bret has litigated significant cases of first impression regarding the immunity of international organizations in the D.D.C. and D.C. Circuit.
Bret also helps government contractors navigate the web of statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations governing the award and performance of government contracts. Bret has particular experience in challenging and defending high-value contract awards at the Government Accountability Office and US Court of Federal Claims.
After law school, Bret clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth K. Dillon of the US District Court for the Western District of Virginia, from 2016 to 2017.
Bret also helps government contractors navigate the web of statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations governing the award and performance of government contracts. Bret has particular experience in challenging and defending high-value contract awards at the Government Accountability Office and US Court of Federal Claims.
