More About Catherine
As a member of the Labor & Employment department, Catherine represents employers in both single plaintiff and class actions in California and federal courts, arbitrations, and mediations. She has experience defending against claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, and wage and hour violations. Catherine also counsels employers concerning various employment-related issues, including employee discipline and termination, requests for accommodation and medical leaves of absence, and other employment policy matters.
Before joining Seyfarth Shaw, Catherine practiced employment law for five years at national and international law firms. During law school, Catherine served as the Chief Note and Comment Editor for the Loyola Law Review. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew, in the Central District of California.
