Gina’s practice focuses on helping employers and management navigate today’s complex and evolving legal landscape. She has counseled and defended clients in the private, public, and quasi-public sectors, including but not limited to, health care, technology, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, utilities, school districts, and religious organizations.
Gina has broad experience litigating claims of workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour class actions, PAGA claims, and other employment-related claims under state and federal law. She handles claims in all stages—including regularly responding to charges brought before the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission—successfully compelling matters to arbitration, resolving prelitigation claims, and aggressively litigating claims in both state and federal courts.
Additionally, Gina regularly counsels employers on day-to-day employment law matters, including policies and procedures, employee handbooks, hiring, termination, discipline, workplace investigations, harassment training, disability and leaves, wage and hour and employee compensation, and best practices.
