More About Jeanine

Employers are subject to a myriad of anti-discrimination laws and wage-and-hour laws. Jeanine helps her clients understand how these laws impact their business, and defends against employment-related claims when necessary.

Jeanine represents employers in single-plaintiff litigation involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations. Jeanine also represents employers in wage and hour class action litigation in claims that allege "off the clock" violations, failure to pay minimum wages, and meal and rest break violations. Jeanine also has extensive experience investigating, responding, and mediating administrative charges of discrimination and retaliation made before the EEOC in all jurisdictions throughout the United States, as well as other state agency charges.

From pay practices to break policies, employee classification, disability accommodation and more, Jeanine also advises employers on a wide variety of employment-related issues. She also handles the preparation of employment agreements and employment policies.

Jeanine has responded to more than 100 federal and state charges of discrimination throughout the US for a large multinational employer. She works effectively with the EEOC and state agencies to either resolve such claims in mediation, or obtain dismissals/no-probable-cause findings after writing effective position statements in defense of such claims.

Jeanine enjoys working alongside Seyfarth attorneys who are highly knowledgeable in the field. The firm also supports her and other attorneys with the most technologically advanced research tools and support.
