California employers must navigate overlapping legal obligations while continuing to meet business objectives and manage operational risk. His practice combines litigation and preventive legal counseling, so clients can address both their immediate challenges and long-term business objectives. Kyle defends employers against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation, wage and hour violations, and California's Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), including high-stakes class and representative actions, in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and appeals. He also advises employers on compliance, workplace policies, emerging employment law developments, and the legal implications of new technologies, including artificial intelligence; conducts internal workplace investigations; develops policies; and delivers management and supervisor training programs, including anti-harassment and workplace conduct training.

As a legal advisor, Kyle assists employers with sensitive workplace matters, including harassment and misconduct allegations, gender identity and sexual orientation matters, and other complex employment concerns. Clients frequently seek his counsel when navigating complex interpersonal dynamics, high-profile allegations, and workplace culture concerns that require both legal judgment and thoughtful communication. Kyle's early experience representing plaintiffs provides valuable insight into how employees and their counsel evaluate claims, assess risk, and develop litigation strategy.

With every client, Kyle is a responsive, strategic advisor who understands not only the legal issues at stake, but also the business realities driving decision making. He believes effective legal representation starts with listening and understanding what success looks like for each client. He approaches matters with an innovative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to leverage technology to improve outcomes and efficiency. Additionally, Kyle is a frequent writer and speaker on emerging legal developments, keeping him at the forefront of changes that affect employers so he can better assist them with anticipating risks before they become disputes.
