Marc is the co-chair of Seyfarth’s Trials group. He is a renowned courtroom lawyer who is widely sought after for his skilled and passionate presentations. Marc attracts clients from a broad range of sectors, including financial services, sports, manufacturing, and health care, and he’s defended clients in some of the most prominent criminal and civil cases of recent times.

Marc’s achievements include scores of high-stakes, high-pressure federal trials, including the acquittal of a Navy SEAL in a murder trial, the first-ever acquittal in a commodities fraud “spoofing” trial, and a critical courtroom role in one of the biggest cryptocurrency cases in history. He has represented a US president and convinced prosecutors to abandon a criminal investigation of a US representative. His experience also includes the representation of a major corporation in the Deepwater Horizon explosion, a world-famous professor, public officials at the state and local levels, a Hall of Fame coach, various law enforcement officials, a leading fashion brand, and a beloved national sports institution. Marc has also counseled numerous public and private companies and appeared before an NCAA hearing panel.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, Marc founded a boutique trial firm, led the white-collar defense practices at two international law firms, and was a chief in the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
