Rachael helps clients achieve strategic and expeditious resolutions to their employment and labor relations matters.
More About Rachael
Rachael collaborates with clients on all aspects of managing labor-management relationships. Whether she is offering advice on how to approach day-today labor concerns or representing employers before the National Labor Relations Board, Rachael works closely with clients to find creative and practical ways to meet their workforce and operational goals.
Since she joined Seyfarth as part of the Labor & Employment department’s fellowship program, an innovative training program for law students, Rachael has gravitated towards traditional labor and the overlap of legal acumen, business strategy, and nuanced relationship dynamics that make labor law unique. Along these lines, Rachael serves as a first chair advocate in collective bargaining and labor arbitrations, frequently defends employers in complex and high-stakes unfair labor practice matters, and counsels employers of all sizes on how to resolve immediate labor challenges without sacrificing business needs or positive employee relations.
Apart from traditional labor matters, Rachael also has valuable experience helping employers with everyday employment issues including administrative charges before the EEOC and similar agencies, creating compliant workplace policies and handbooks, and counseling clients on employment decisions impacted by the ADA, FMLA, and Title VII.
