More About Rebecca
Rebecca represents employers in complex wage and hour litigation, with a particular focus on class, collective, and representative actions in state and federal courts across the West Coast. She defends employers against high-exposure claims involving alleged off-the-clock work, meal and rest break compliance, employee classification, overtime, and related wage and hour issues, including actions brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
Drawing on significant litigation experience, Rebecca works with employers to develop practical strategies for managing litigation risk while they advance their business objectives. She regularly counsels employers on wage and hour compliance, disability accommodation and leave issues, workplace policies, employee classification, terminations, OSHA requirements, and labor relations matters. Her practice includes advising employers on complex workplace challenges under the ADA, FMLA, FEHA, and other federal and state employment laws.
Rebecca has represented employers across a broad range of industries, including agriculture, transportation, health care, and other labor-intensive sectors, where wage and hour compliance and workforce management issues are often business critical. She is particularly adept at helping employers navigate the intersection of litigation risk, operational realities, and an evolving regulatory landscape.
Before entering private practice, Rebecca served as an appellate judicial extern in California, where she gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making and appellate advocacy. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals in matters involving naturalizations, DACA renewals, humanitarian visas, and criminal expungements.
