The arrival of Arthur Telegen to Seyfarth Shaw's Boston office was highlighted in the article, "Ex-Foley Hoag Employment Chair Joins Seyfarth," which appeared in the March 30, 2009 issue of Law360. The article reported that Arthur, a veteran employment lawyer with more than 25 years of experience, has joined Seyfarth Shaw's Labor and Employment Department. Arthur noted he was pleased to have the chance to move from a firm with a more regional scope to a firm with an international presence. Arthur also explained that Seyfarth practices the kind of law that he wants to practice all over the country.

The article highlighted Arthur's areas of expertise, which include: cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) fiduciary issues, and employer and organized labor relations. He has handled labor issues in arbitration, in federal courts and before the National Labor Relations Board. According to Arthur, labor relations is an area that may be heating up in the near further as Congress considers the pending Employee Free Choice Act, making it easier for employees to join unions. He commented, "Even without the change in the statue, the unions seem emboldened under the Obama administration. I think it will pick up either way."

The article concluded with Arthur reiterating why he chose to join Seyfarth: "The capacities throughout the country are just unmatched by anyone else."
