Camille Olson Quoted in Phoenix, Dallas, Dayton and Portland Business Journals regarding the Paycheck Fairness Act
Camille Olson, chair of the Complex Discrimination practice group, was recently quoted in multiple business journal articles concerning the Paycheck Fairness Act. The articles notified employers that despite the fact that the Paycheck Fairness Act did not pass in the Senate, more rigorous enforcement of current laws banning inequitable pay practices are expected.
“The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs have increased their enforcement efforts on pay disparity issues over the past year,” Camille commented to the Phoenix Business Journal. “In light of the increased attention to equal pay issues and increased enforcement by federal agencies, employers would be wise to review their pay practices in an attorney-client privileged self-audit.”
