Joan Casciari quoted by SHRM, “ADA Interactive Process: It Sounds Easy, So Why Is It Hard?”

Joan Casciari was quoted in a March 18 story from SHRM on the process for identifying reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Casciari recommends that the process start by having the employee fill out a request for accommodation where the employee identifies how his or her impairment impacts the ability to perform and what he or she is seeking in terms of accommodation.
