Lorie Almon Honored in Crain’s New York 2020 Notable Women in Law

Lorie E. Almon, co-manager of Seyfarth’s New York office and partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment department, was named to the Crain’s New York Business 2020 Notable Women in Law report.

Crain’s New York Business named 100 New Yorkers to the list of 2020 Notable Women in Law, the third year they are honoring dedicated, gifted and determined female lawyers. The list includes trailblazing attorneys who are passionate about serving their clients and staying on top of their game. Lorie E. Almon specializes in litigation of wage and hour claims, regularly defending Fortune 500 companies in cases related to the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage payment laws. Recognized with numerous awards for her litigation skills, Almon serves as lead counsel in discrimination class actions and multi-district cases, chairing teams of attorneys across the country. Previously an assistant corporation counsel for the City of New York, Almon is a member of Seyfarth's executive committee and serves on the Labor & Employment department’s leadership team. A member of the national board of directors of Jumpstart, a respected nonprofit in the field of early childhood education, Almon was awarded Seyfarth's “Inspirational Leadership Award” for commitment to Jumpstart and making a difference in the community.
