Robert Milligan quoted in Corporate Counsel

Robert Milligan was quoted in a May 11 story “Obama Signs Trade Secrets Act Into Law” from Corporate Counsel on President Barack Obama’s signing of the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016 into law, giving companies the ability for the first time to use federal law to sue those who misappropriate their confidential information. Milligan said that this is very significant for intellectual property and that, for the first time, trade secrets claims, like copyrights, trademarks and patents, can be heard in federal court.
