NEW YORK (May 16, 2011) — Leading law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP is pleased to announce that Loren Gesinsky has joined the firm as a Labor and Employment partner in its New York office. Gesinsky comes to Seyfarth from Gibbons P.C.

Gesinsky represents employers and provides counsel on all legal issues pertaining to the workplace, including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, non-compete and other restrictive contracts and trade secrets before federal and state courts, administrative agencies and other investigations.

Gesinsky’s arrival continues the firm’s aggressive lateral recruitment in its Labor & Employment practice, both locally and nationally. He joins New York former National Labor Relations Board member and pre-eminent Labor & Employment partner Marshall Babson who joined the firm in April from Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. Last week, nationally recognized employment partner Wanda Holloway joined Seyfarth’s Houston office from Littler Mendelson P.C. Prominent ERISA litigator D. Ward Kallstrom recently came on board in San Francisco from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

Gesinsky received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his JD from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the New York state bar, and he has been admitted to several U.S. District Courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has also been selected among The Best Lawyers in America and listed in Super Lawyers magazine.
