Seyfarth Shaw was featured in the September 7, 2010 Employment Law360 article for its standout employment litigation work as identified in the Litigation Outlook 2011 report from The BTI Consulting Group. Camille Olson, chair of the firm's complex discrimination litigation practice, credited a high level of integration of regional offices for the firm's strong reputation among in-house counsel. She noted,  "We think of ourselves as one law firm with long hallways. Having a seamless team is very significant."

Camille pointed out that the firm's approximately five-year-old SeyfarthLean model emphasizes transparency to clients on legal expenses and case developments, allowing corporate counsel flexibility in choosing a litigation approach and pricing it out beforehand. That has decreased litigation costs for clients by anywhere from 15 percent to 50 percent and created a partnership between firm and client on how cases can be handled, she added. Seyfarth has also counted several big wins over the past year, including beating a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act lawsuit against Deutsche Post DHL on summary judgment, blocking certification of a 20,000-person class in a Fair Labor Standards Act suit against Delta-T Group Inc., and an Aug. 31 summary judgment decision for Prudential Financial Inc. that found its salesmen exempt from FLSA's overtime pay requirements.

"What sets Seyfarth’s lawyers apart from many other law firms is their focus not only on the results, but also they place great importance on open and effective communication early and throughout the process while keeping in mind aggressive budgets, the bigger picture and the client’s best interests," said Bradley Paskievitch, the senior legal counsel at Deutsche Post DHL.
