Seyfarth Shaw’s ADA Title III News & Insights blog was referenced in an October 1 story “Disabled file lawsuits in droves to force ADA compliance” from the Ocala StateBanner regarding the firm’s report on the number of ADA Title III lawsuits filed against public accommodations in 2016. The report says a number of court rulings in recent years bent over backwards to find that plaintiffs with no legitimate reason to visit a business, or intent to do so in the future, have standing to sue under Title III.
