Seyfarth Shaw Welcomes Arthur G. Telegen as a Partner in the Firm’s Labor and Employment Department

Boston, MA (March 30, 2009)—Seyfarth Shaw LLP, one of America’s leading full service law firms, today announced that Arthur G. Telegen has joined the firm’s Labor and Employment Department as a partner in the firm’s Boston office. He was previously a partner at Foley Hoag LLP where he was Chair of that firm’s Labor and Employment Department for over a decade.

Telegen has represented national and international employers across the spectrum of industries in labor and employment matters. He handles labor issues in arbitration and before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the federal courts, and tries cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, ERISA fiduciary and Multi-Employer Pension Plan Act claims. A significant part of his practice involves counseling clients regarding the labor and employment issues involved in major transactions.

Telegen received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from Harvard Law School, and his A.B. from Brandeis University. He is admitted to the state bar of Massachusetts; the U.S. District courts for the Districts of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Ninth and District of Columbia Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Telegen is a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and ranked in Band One in Chambers.
